One of the few nice things about been back in South Florida is that I have a piano again!
I will I had a way to record myself so you all could listen, but other people's YouTube videos will have to do!

I just found out that I am needed back in South Florida next weekend, so I will be moved in by earlier next week.
This means I will no longer be attending Mini-MegaCon. :(
I will be traveling back and forth in Orlando for the next 4 months, but mainly staying there. |

So the baby name is Beckett Fitzpatrick Hogan.
At least he is going to have a really cool nickname of "Beck".
Isn't not like he named the kid Bronx Mowgali like Ashlee Simpson did the other day.
I'm not a big fan of obscure baby names.
I'll get mine chance some day!

As a really awesome present, Max is taking going with me for archery lesson tomorrow.

| Life Changing! |

So yesterday I had a long talk with my Program Director to help me alleviate some stress I have been having with my major.
She made me feel really confident about what I am going to do and let me know that I am doing well, and not to stress out too much.
Since I have only had one other short meeting other than this meeting since I have been in this major, she was asking some personal questions about me just to get to know me better.
I ended up finding out that her 60-year-old husband plays WOW and everyone in his guild calls him "Gramps".
I ended up talking about cosplaying a little bit and actually talked to her about Metal Gear Solid (since I was wearing a MGS shirt).
It was a good talk.
And on another note, Max is the current record holder at What-a-Burger on University for eating a 9-Patty burger on Monday.
Apparently, the people working there were taking pictures of him while he ate.
I'm really glad I was sleeping during all of it. |

A few months ago I posted something about another X-men animated series, and I had no clue that it just came out!
Apparently it is only available to other countries (such as Canada and Brazil) and not the United States quite yet. Our broadcast will be starting in early 2009 on Nicktoons Network.
But you can download the first few episodes already.
I just finished watching 1-4, and it really is a awesome series so far!
At first I thought that Wolverine was too soft when he was Logan (if that makes any sense), but it definitely is only a first episode trend.
Its better than Evolution, just as good (maybe better) as X-men TAS, and yet the rating is only Y7.
The only thing that kind of bugs me is that Steve Blum voices Wolverine.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Steve Blum, but he sounds EXACTLY like Spike Spegiel and sometimes all I hear is Spike's voice as Wolverine.

Alina got a great picture of the cake I made for Max's birthday:
Legend of Zelda is his favorite, so of course I made him a Tri-Force cake.
I have never worked with fondant before, but it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be!
His best friend is coming down next week and for his birthday I am going to make a Metroid or a Metal Gear Cake.
I'll post pictures if it's as successful as this one was. |
